event: the car wreck, that brought me here.
i was driving along, minding my own business and before i knew it another car was flying at me, all i could think about was not hitting the young girl i saw on the other side of it's window .. . . . . .

i rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and realized that my back/leg were in pain, that increased to a sensation like fire . . . . .

i pulled up to a traffic light and was struck by fear as had happened before seemed to flash in front of my eyes. . . . . . .. . .

person: my friend Thomas
we were covererd from head to toe with the glue, from the flooring we had been laying, sticky would be an understatement . . . . .

as the knife kept going, the most horrifying gashing noise followed by a half moan half yell, as blood began hit the floor . . . . . .

i stood there about to weep, as two people that i cared a lot about and that loved each other beat each one another to a pulp verbally

belief:that we belong in community
i was lonely, depressed and not only suicidal, but had attempted it as well. . . . . . .

on a rainy dreary day i came through the doors and my heart , face and whole countenance was set aglow. . . . . .

i had never believed it could happen, she who seemed not to want my presence to be real, was now asking if i would be alright. . .

These are all very compelling. I am trying to get your link up on the site, but for some reason, it won't take. I'm frustrated! I'm going to e-mail the class to visit your blog and vote.

I like the one about being covered in glue!

I level with you on the whole car wreck thing. I've had two cars totaled in 4 years. It's really scary, especially when your car is on fire and the initial shock of seeing the car "flying toward you".

The thought of car wrecks terrify me, I can't imagine how that was for you

That was really interesting to read. The suspense was like BAM! But I love the whole informal, suspense-driven scene format that you picked.

I liked the one about your friend.

Normally I just skim over people's blogs, but this I read every word of. And it is hard to hold my attention. The way you began each story and then just went to the next was Very interesting...
